Advocacy
Day 2009 took place at the Prairie Capital Convention Center on
Wednesday February 25th in Springfield Illinois.
We had an attendance of over 725 social workers and students coming
from across the state to attend a full day of educational seminars
on lobbying in the state of Illinois.

Participants
spent the afternoon at the Capital lobbying
for the NASW Illinois
Chapter
Legislative Agenda.
Each
participant received an Advocacy Day packet complete with
legislative materials and tip sheets on lobbying. (See the links
to the right for more information) |
