Maudette Carr, MSW, LSW, is hospice social worker for Advocate in Downers Grove, IL. She earned her MSW from Loyola University in 2001 and has been actively involved in the NASW Illinois Chapter as district vice chair and district chair of the Three Rivers District from 2003–2006, as Chapter Membership Chair from 2006–2008, and as secretary from 2008 to present. She has also been a board member of the Community Mental Health Board of Oak Park from 2004–2007.
