On February 28th, the Chapter will be holding its 9th Annual Lobby Day in Springfield. I encourage all members to join us that day to discuss the important issues of the profession with the elected officials who shape our state’s policies.

Finally, this current issue includes the results of the 2005 Salary Survey of the NASW Illinois Chapter members. 600 members and nonmembers participated in the survey which has given us a snapshot of where social work salaries are at this point in time as compared with the salary survey that we published in 2002/2003.
