Illinois Women March on Springfield

On Tuesday, April 25, 2017, the NASW-Illinois Chapter will be heading down to Springfield to take part in the Illinois Women March on Springfield to advocate for a progressive agenda and responsible budget for all. The chapter will also be renting a charter bus to take down to Springfield. Breakfast will be provided to those taking the charter bus to Springfield; a brown bag lunch will be provided by march organizers. 

Cost (covers cost of brown bag lunch): $35 Nonmember and Nonmember Social Work Student / $10 NASW Member

7:30am Charter bus riders meet at NASW-Illinois Chapter Office; breakfast provided
8:00am Charter bus departs for Illinois State Capitol
*A brown bag lunch provided by march organizers
12:00pm Rally at Lincoln Statue
12:45pm Lobbying and march around the Capitol Complex
1:30pm Continued lobbying inside Capitol
2:30pm Final rally in the Capitol Rotunda
3:00pm Rally end time; head to charter bus
3:30pm Charter bus departs for Chicago/NASW-Illinois Chapter Office
7:30pm (est.) Charter bus arrives at NASW-Illinois Chapter Office
