Congress Web

Congress Web

What is Congress Web?

Congress Web is a program bought by Government Relations to make contacting Members of Congress more efficient and less time-consuming for NASW members. Congress Web will help members prepare letters or e-mails to send to their legislators.

How does it work?

It’s simple! Just click on the "Take Action" icon below and Congress Web will take you through a simple step-by-step process.

Step 1
Issue Select Page: Select an issue on which you would like to write your legislator (click on "Write Your Legislators").
Step 2 Author Info Page: Enter your name and address information; then you can edit/print a letter to send to your legislator by mail or edit/send an e-mail to your legislator. You can also send a sample copy of the e-mail to yourself.

Because e-mail is a fast way to contact your Member of Congress, most legislators will acknowledge your e-mail within a couple of days. Using Congress Web will allow NASW members to contact legislators quickly regarding issues that are important to social workers and people we serve. We hope that Congress Web will help increase the number of contacts our members make on the Hill!
