CEU INFORMATION

ceAll courses offered through the NASW-Illinois Chapter meet the continuing education qualifications for LSWs, LCSWs, LPCs, LCPCs, TYPE 73 and LMFTs licensed in Illinois. as required by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

For more information about Illinois CE requirements, visit the IDFPR's website at: http://www.idfpr.com

All CEU forms will be sent by email unless otherwise requested by the attendee. You will receive your CEU .pdf or form no more than 45 days after the event.

For answers to most of your CEU questions click: http://www.naswil.org/cerequirements.htm

Illinois social workers (LSWs and LCSWs) must complete 30 CEUs (equal to 30 clock hours of continuing education) within every two-year period in order to remain licensed. Three of those 30 hours must be specifically in the training of the ethical practice of social work.  The deadline for license renewal is November 30 of every odd-numbered year, regardless of when you obtained your license.

Important: Please keep in mind that CE requirements vary from state to state and change periodically. Consequently, it is ultimately the responsibility of the licensee to keep abreast of his/her state's current requirements.
