Sue Murphy, MSW, is care coordinator at Aging Care Connections in LaGrange, where her responsibilities include working with "Money Follows the Person" and the Elder Abuse and Neglect Program.
Sue graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2009. At Loyola, Sue participated in and was awarded scholarships for the Hartford Partnership Program for Aging Education and the Kott Gerontology Scholars Program.
Sue served as a student monitor for the 2008 NASW Illinois Statewide Conference and currently serves on the NASW Illinois Political Action Committee.
Additionally, she is involved with schools as an elected member of the Lemont Bromberek Combined School District 113A Board of Education and through the Lemont High School Education Foundation. She also currently participates in the Committee on Leadership in Aging and is a proud facilitator for a "Grandparents Raising Grandchildren" Support Group.
