Hello West Central District social workers! Registration is open for an upcoming virtual networking event with Illinois State Representative Lindsey LaPointe. Representative LaPointe will discuss what it’s like being in the Illinois General Assembly and how her social work background influences her work. It has been an honor to serve as the NASW-Illinois Chapter West Central District Chair since 2018. It is now time for new leadership in this region, and I’m excited to see what our new chair will offer.
