Welcome to all new and renewing NASW members. We are happy to have you in our district.


NASW’s Virtual Career Fair! This exciting event will be held on March 30, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (ET). https://joblink.socialworkers.org/events/nasw-spring-2021-virtual-career-fair-1


Virtual Event: We will be hosting a one-hour training Monday May 3rd 12Noon-1 P.M.

Cultivating Wellness in a Fast-Paced Society This training explores what it means to live a balanced life. Learn new wellness strategies to help bring about new changes and reset unproductive patterns. Our guest speaker, Michelle McKinnie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Michelle is a seasoned presenter at Harold Washington College. Additionally, she has presented for NASW on various topics related specifically to Mental Health and Self-Care for Professionals.

Looking for Presenters! 2021 NASW Chapters Conference

The NASW-Illinois Chapter is opening a call for presentations that are creative, interactive, and audience-engaged. We are seeking one-hour presentations that are creative, interactive, and audience-engaged. Proposals should have dynamic presenters who can lead social workers through discussions and peer-sharing about topics relating to social work practice and must fulfill IDFPR requirements for CEU education.
