Save the Date! 2019 NASW-Illinois Chapter Statewide Conference Announced The 2019 NASW-Illinois Chapter Statewide Conference: A Meeting of the Professions will take place Tuesday, November 5, 2019, through Thursday, November 7, 2019, at The Westin North Shore in Wheeling, IL. This year's conference will include trainings relating to topics of cultural competency and ethics. More details to come later this spring, but circle the dates in your calendar now! Call for Speakers and Proposals! The chapter is starting to ramp up presentations for the second half of the licensure cycle, and we're looking for presenters. Call for 2019 Social Work Award Nominations Deadline: Wednesday, July 31, 2019 The call for award nominations for the annual NASW-Illinois Chapter Social Work Awards will begin on April 1st. Nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 Social Work Awards! This year, we are looking for outstanding individuals whose work has supported and promoted the social work profession and the people it serves.
