Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

Must be fully licensed to practice independently in the state of Illinois with one of the following licensures: LCSW/LCPC/LMFT or PsyD.

This leadership role requires experience in a higher level of care setting (HLOC).

2+ years of clinical leadership experience.

Experience in working in an Intensive Outpatient (IOP) or Partial Hospitalization (PHP) setting, working with groups, families, and individuals.

Experience working with an array of populations, diagnoses, including co-occurring disorders.

We are currently seeking a full-time Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team within the IL Department of Corrections. Positions are available statewide, with a variety of daytime and evening schedules.

The QMHP provides comprehensive mental health care to patients in a correctional setting, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, consulting with a multi-disciplinary team, case management, and providing individual and group therapy. Performs all duties as assigned by leadership and as directed by Centurion policy and procedure, as well as IDOC Directives, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications:

· Master's level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required

· Active Independent mental health professional license Illinois: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LSW required

· Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred

· Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
