About NASW-Illinois Chapter Events

All courses offered through the NASW-Illinois Chapter meet the continuing education qualifications for LSWs, LCSWs, LPCs, LCPCs, LMFTs, RNs, APNs, LCPs, and LMFTs  licensed in Illinois as required by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). NASW-IL is also an Illinois State Board of Education–approved licensed professional development provider for PELs (formerly Type 73s) for school social workers.

All views and opinions expressed are those of the speakers and do not necessarily reflect the views or positions of the NASW-Illinois Chapter.

Become an NASW-IL Speaker! We are searching for NEW VOICES with knowledge to share. Are you geeked out on leadership? Notice a lacking of cultural awareness in your communities? Have insight on a burgeoning new field within the profession? Take the first step in giving back to your peers. We host opportunities for in-person and virtual trainings to let you and the knowledge you have to share SHINE! Click here to learn more about becoming a speaker.

Want to bring events to your organization? We're looking for agencies or organizations with space to host CEU programming. Spread word about your organization or services with Illinois social workers by bringing them directly into your space or provide CEU programming directly for the social workers in your agency. We're looking for venues around the state that can fit at least 20 individuals, are ADA-compliant, and have a quiet, professional environment to host educational programming. To find out more, complete our Venue Sponsorship form.
