The NASW-Illinois Chapter is a collective of social workers pooling together time, knowledge, and resources with peers for a better, more diverse, and more equitable social work profession. Sharing your expertise and knowledge on the social work profession is one of the most important and rewarding things a social worker can do. We are seeking programs that offer topics of merit to social workers and that are taught by professionals who are qualified to speak on that topic.

Our Continuing Education Program hosts live and recorded training workshops throughout the state and online. We will work to host and promote your course and handle all CEUs—you only have to arrive and share your expertise.

Please note, in most instances, this is a volunteer opportunity only and there is no compensation for presenting. The NASW-Illinois Chapter is a collective of social workers pooling together time, knowledge, and resources with peers for a better, more diverse, and more equitable social work profession. As a nonprofit entity, all revenue from professional development is reinvested back into the profession. In addition, presenting is a great way to develop your professional skills, meet and connect with other social work colleagues around the state, and promote your knowledge and services.

We recognize that professional commitments and compensation expectations might prevent you from presenting without remuneration. Although the majority of our courses are offered at no cost to members, we encourage you to submit an application. Occasionally, external funding enables us to offer compensation to our presenters.

If you are interested in presenting with the association, please complete the following form. Please note the application form is lengthy as we are requesting some information as required for IDFPR regulations.
