Lived experience, previous work having a therapeutic alliance with clients, wanting a rewarding career that serves others.
What are some of the essential skills needed to be an effective social worker?
Compassion, empathy, non-judgment, quick-thinking.
What changes or innovations do you see coming to the social work profession?
Greater need for support of marginalized communities and those with limited access to care.
