2023 VIRTUAL ADVOCACY DAY
Monday, March 27, 2023
Join the NASW-Illinois Chapter for our annual day of advocacy education with other social work professionals and students! Learn about current emerging issues in the state of Illinois as well as up-to-the-minute legislation currently up for vote in the Capitol. Unite your voices with hundreds of other social work colleagues on issues that affect the social work profession! Check back on our Advocacy Day page as presenters, factsheets, and action alerts, are posted.
The day's schedule will include educational programming with breakout sessions on topics related to current bills up for vote this legislative session. We are encouraging all schools to set up on-site lobbying with their local legislators on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, and can assist with setting up those meetings. Contact NASW-IL for more details.
