The NASW-Illinois Chapter is looking for presenters!
This year's annual NASW-Illinois Chapter conference has been announced! This year's conference will take place in a blended format with an in-person conference* taking place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Lisle Naperville in Lisle, IL, on Thursday, November 17, 2022, and a live virtual conference on Thursday, December 1, 2022. Presenters will be expected to be available to present on both dates: in-person on November 17th and live virtually on December 1st.
Presentation Requirements:
We are seeking one-and-a-half hour presentations on the following topics:
Effects of COVID on social workers/social work profession
Telehealth for social workers
Self-care for social workers
Preference will be given to dynamic presenters whose presentations are creative, interactive, and audience-engaged. All presentations must fulfill IDFPR requirements for CEU education and should lead participants through discussions and peer-sharing about topics relating to social work practice.

DEADLINE: Monday, May 2, 2022
Accepted proposals will be notified in late May and will be expected to confirm their presentation placement within a week.

*Please note that parameters for in-person participation (mask wearing, vaccine mandates, etc.) are subject to change based on local city and state guidelines. The in-person event on November 17th is also subject to cancellation based on conditions regarding the pandemic.
