NASW-Illinois Chapter Ethics Conference
NOTE: This year's annual conference is still scheduled for November 19, 2020, but may take place live virtually depending on circumstances.

For this year’s 2020 conference, we’re talking ETHICS! The NASW-Illinois Chapter is opening a call for ethics presentations that are creative, interactive, and audience-engaged. We’re searching for dynamic presenters who can lead social workers through discussions and peer-sharing about topics relating to ethics. Presentations can be from 60, 90, or 120 minutes in length and must fulfill IDFPR requirements for ethics education. We want ethics to be fun—as such we are strongly discouraging lecture-only based presentations.

Become an NASW-IL Presenter

During these unprecedented times, the chapter is trying to identify speakers and workshops to provide Illinois social workers with online training while many of us are home with excess time on our hands and licensure requirements still to fulfill. Looking to test out the waters of presenting? Know a lot about a field of practice but unsure about leading a virtual training? The NASW-Illinois Chapter can help! Let us help you walk through the basics of presenting a virtual training with us. We'll help with equipment and conference management—you just bring the knowledge! More experienced in presenting? We're looking for you too! Contact the NASW-Illinois Chapter about getting started, or simply submit a proposal here.
