Hello Jane Addams District Members,

I hope this finds you all well and coping as best you can with COVID-19. As the colors change, we are reminded to keep an open mind and look for miracles in everyday life.

Our Presenter: Steve Ritter, LCSW
 
Steve is the author of Team Clock: A Guide to Breakthrough Teams and Useful Pain: Why Your Relationships Need Struggle, CEO of the Team Clock Institute, LLC, and the Managing Director of the Midwest Institute & Center for Workplace Innovation, LLC. Steve teaches on the faculty of the Center for Professional Excellence at Elmhurst College where he earned the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Course Content: This workshop is a recipe for aligning your career path with your strengths. We will examine the strengths most aligned with professional purpose, identify self-care strategies for addressing the drain of delivering trauma-informed care, and identify career path options most likely to fuel professional energy.

1. Examine the strengths and competencies most aligned with professional purpose.
 
2. Recognize key self-care strategies for addressing the inevitable emotional drain of delivering trauma-informed care.
 
3. Identify human service career path options most likely to fuel professional energy.
