Michael F. Mallory, LCSW Chicago District Chair We are excited to share with you that the NASW-Illinois Chapter Chicago District will be hosting its first virtual job fair. In response to employment needs across the industry and individuals returning to the workforce, we felt it beneficial to host an event to broaden an employer’s search and to assist job seekers with having a central place to learn more about different employment opportunities. Although this event is hosted by the Chicago District, it will also include employers from different areas across the state of Illinois.

This event will be hosted through a virtual platform that is set up much like a virtual exhibit where attendees can visit a virtual table/booth to meet with the respective employer. There is no charge for job seekers; employers will be responsible for a small fee based on the recruiting package they choose. This means that not only will employers be able to represent their organizations through a virtual table/booth, but they will also be able get further promotion on the NASW-Illinois Chapter’s social media accounts as well as the chapter Job board page to advertise their vacancies. The job fair will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, from 12:00 to 3:00pm. If you are interested in attending or representing your organization, please use the links listed above.
