Social Work Month came and went and I hope you continue to feel celebrated for all you do.
The CEU event last month was terrific. I think we all left feeling a little lighter like we had just come from our own therapy session. Thank you to all of you for coming and sharing your insights and observations.
If you have not already received an email reminding you to vote in our Chapter Election, please take the time to do so. Several of us are finishing a term and your vote really does matter when choosing your Illinois board.
We had a few new members join our district- a special welcome to Jenny Weiser, Hagit Sherman, Michael Kosinski, Erin Ekeberg and Jillian Drummond. I know you will find your membership valuable and rewarding and look forward to meeting you at a future event.
