Happy Holidays, Chicago!

I sincerely hope that all of you had a lovely and restorative holiday last week. As we are now underway for the rest of the holiday season, I hope folx are able to set aside time for some much needed self-care!

In preparation for the New Year, I’d like to remind everyone that LCSW renewals are due by 02/29/2022 as well as the CEUs for that renewal period. If you have any questions, I encourage you to check out our NASW Illinois community board for responses from our chapter staff. [NASW Illinois community in MyNASW] For those of you in private practice and maintain your own CAQH provider profiles, I remind all of you to upload a temporary printout of your temporary renewal extension on the IDFPR website’s licensure look-up page.

Additionally, during this upcoming year, my term will be end as Chicago District Chair. I encourage those who are interested in serving on the Board to submit a nomination. For more information see below:

Join the NASW-IL Board of Directors!

We are beginning our open call to members to join the 2022 NASW-Illinois Chapter Board of Directors! We are seeking applicants to several positions on the board including president-elect, secretary, chairs in the Calumet, Chicago, Jane Addams, and Southern District, member at-large, and undergraduate and graduate student reps. To find out more about these open positions, take a look at our 2022 NASW-Illinois Chapter Board Leadership Recruitment Packet or contact the chapter to request a nomination form! The deadline is March 1, 2022, for all nominations.
