Mary Garrison, LCSW, ACSW East Central District Chair

Happy 2021! We made it (whew!)! I hope you all had the best holiday season and start to the new year you could have had—I am guessing there was no “usual” about anything, but please don’t lose hope! There are some usual’s ahead, and some new traditions we have all learned these past 10 months. I was fortunate enough to get the Moderna vaccine this week and am hopeful that the vaccine rolls out to all very, very soon. I know COVID-19 is still here, and there are still many challenging times ahead, but I am hopeful and optimistic. I believe that we will beat COVID-19! Thanks for all you are doing and how you are representing our profession during such a difficult time. #socialworkersareessential
