As legislative session has recently wrapped up, I hope everyone is looking forward to the summer! I am excited to announce our first in-person training, Creating Pathways for the Geriatric Population, that will be held on Wednesday, June 14th at the Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation in Springfield, IL. The SIU School of Medicine recently launched their Center for Healthy Aging & Wellness. This training opportunity would allow providers in the field learn more about the center and the services that they provide. We hope to identity more service providers in the district and identify barriers to care for the geriatric population. Hope to see you there!
