A big thank you to Jerry Ciffone for his outstanding presentation on "Helping students/clients after a school/workplace shooting or suicide." This presentation was very well presented and the participant response was extremely positive. Thank you Jerry and Thanks to North Western Medical Kishwaukee Hospital for hosting the event and providing breakfast.
In the director's "From the Pen," Joel reminds us that this is a license renewal year, and as May begins we have 7 months until renewal. Remember to mark you calendars for the 2019 NASW-Illinois Chapter Statewide Conference on Tuesday, November 5th through Thursday, November 7th at The Westin North Shore in Wheeling, IL. More information will be posted monthly. In the Jane Addams District we are in the process of putting together another workshop in June. Watch your e-mail as more information will be coming your way.
