November has arrived, and the reality of the passing of another year sets in. The remaining days of this year will bring more and more to do as the holiday season approaches. Let us not forget some important dates.

Older Adult SIG
Works to establish social work as a primary discipline in older adult services in Illinois and to attract committed social workers who are qualified and trained in the field of older adults
Private Practice SIG
Intended to provide a common place for private practitioners to share knowledge and resources pertaining to their work.
Retired Social Workers SIG
Brings retired social workers (RSWs) back to the field of professional social work and provides networking opportunities, continuing education events, and more.
Student Network SIG
Provides support and networking opportunities to Illinois social work students.

Advocacy Day will take place in Springfield, Illinois in April 2020 (exact date TBA). Join an anticipated 800+ social workers and social work students from across the state to attend a half day of educational seminars followed by lobbying in the state capital.
