Hi Jane Addams District Members,
As fall arrives, may it bring good health and hope to everyone. A sincere welcome to all new and renewing members. Know that we appreciate your continued support.
Thanks goes out to Gary Pate for presenting our October workshop on trauma-impacted youth/adults. As usual, Gary provided a ton of information with valuable handouts and educational links to strengthen the presentation. Thanks to all who attended and support our efforts to provide timely and up-to-date workshops throughout this crazy year.
While the NASW-Illinois Chapter remains in contact with IDFPR regarding when LSW and LCSW licenses will be available to renew, an e-mail was sent to the entire membership in mid-October about extension of the renewal deadline to February 28, 2022. In case you missed it, the 2021 licensure renewal deadline was extended as was the date to acquire your CEUs. This variance means your license will not expire on December 1, 2021, and will remain active until the extended renewal deadline of February 28, 2022 and you have until February 28, 2022, to complete your CEUs.
