Thanks to all who attended our exciting ethics workshop on GotoWebinar. Jonathan Nye was not only informative, but interesting when sharing real life case situations. I have gotten good feedback and hope to bring him back for a full-day training when things open again. If you missed this training or you are looking for an event, check out http://www.naswil.org/events scroll down to "Recorded CE Events."
This year’s Rethinking Ethics: 2020 NASW-Illinois Chapter Conference will be taking place on Thursday, November 19, 2020, in an all virtual format. Earn up to 6 CEUs, including licensure requirements for ethics and trainings on sexual harassment prevention and mandated reporting. Read more and register here: https://www.naswil.org/conference
I hope many of you have joined the NASW Illinois group within the MyNASW Community. If you have not please check it out. It is a great place to post questions, answer questions or share information, or start a discussion with other social workers. Here are the steps to get there. To find the NASW Illinois community within MyNASW:
Go to the “Communities” tab, and click on, “All Communities.”
Find “NASW Illinois” and click the red 'Join' button.
That’s it! To post a question, click on the “Discussion” sub-tab within the NASW Illinois community, and the green “Post New Message” button.
Be safe. Thank You for all you do.
Peace
